Studio Arhoj søger en praktisk og rigtig gør-det-selv-type, som kan hjælpe os med alle de små og store ting, der skal fikses, flyttes, bygges, bæres, rengøres og løses rundt omkring i vores studio.

Måske er du gået på pension, men savner at have noget at rive i? Eller måske nyder du bare at holde dig i gang og være den, man kan ringe til, når noget skal ordnes.

Vi leder efter en person, der er ferm på hænderne, praktisk anlagt, pålidelig og ikke er bange for at få lidt snavs under neglene.

Opgaverne vil variere fra uge til uge – det kan være små reparationer, vedligeholdelse, flytte rundt på ting, samle noget, ordne noget der er gået i stykker eller generelt hjælpe med at få hverdagen til at fungere.

Du behøver ikke have et langt CV. Hvis du er typen, der ser noget, der skal fikses, og tænker “det kan jeg da godt lige ordne” – så vil vi gerne høre fra dig.

Stillingen er 2 dage om ugen, med mulighed for fleksible dage og en masse flinke mennesker omkring dig.

Are you a glass blower looking to take on a part-time position?

We’re looking to expand our team.

Our hot shop operates 7 days a week and there are many shifts available.
Especially during evenings and weekends.

The perfect candidate would be:

  • able to work both solo or in a team setting
  • organised, timely and detail oriented
  • well experienced in production glass blowing
  • quick to grasp and adopt to our specific methods
  • efficient in execution and good at following design briefs
  • has experience in mould blowing
  • happy to contribute creatively with ideas and colours
  • willing and able to work any shifts throughout the week

Are you passionate about pottery, with the technical expertise and leadership experience to lead a team of skilled potters?

We are looking for a Head Potter to take overall responsibility for the professional development of our pottery team, the quality of our production, and the management of our ceramics workshop.

You are an experienced potter or ceramic artist with many years of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for the craft. You have an in-depth understanding of the entire ceramic process and particularly enjoy the journey of clay—from wedging to a bisque-fired mug.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop our team of potters and trainees.
- Train, coach, and support both new and existing team members.
- Ensure consistently high quality and craftsmanship across all products.
- Develop and optimise workflows, production methods, and ceramic techniques.
- Research and test new materials, tools, and production techniques.
- Contribute actively to innovation and the ongoing development of our ceramic collections in close collaboration with the design team.
- Source materials, monitor inventory levels, maintain and build strong relationships with external suppliers.
- Take responsibility for the layout, organisation, and continuous improvement of the workshop.

We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Is an experienced potter or ceramic artist with extensive practical expertise.
- Has solid experience with wheel throwing and all stages of the firing process.
- Has experience leading or coordinating a ceramics workshop or production team.
- Is a skilled teacher and coach who enjoys developing the skills of others.
- Is curious, proactive, and keeps up to date with new materials, techniques, and industry developments.
- Communicates clearly in English and inspires others through expertise, respect, and enthusiasm.
- Is motivated by efficiency, continuous improvement, and the day-to-day operation of a modern ceramics studio that delivers exceptional quality at a competitive price.

The position is open to anyone who is already located in and able to work in the EU / Denmark.

Work locations: Studio Arhoj HQ (Skindergade 7) and Studio Arhoj Study (Nørregade 7) in downtown Copenhagen.

Zealand (Denmark) / Copenhagen

We’re looking for freelance potters on Zealand, Denmark. We already work with skilled throwers around the country and now need more people on the team to keep up.

You should be able to work from your own studio and take ongoing monthly orders for different models — for example, 200 pieces of one item, 500 of another, etc.

We primarily work in stoneware and can deliver the clay directly to your studio.

You should enjoy delivering high quality, be able to invoice, have your own kiln for bisque firing, and be able to deliver the bisque-fired items to our workshop in Copenhagen (shipping is covered by us).

We pay per bisque-fired piece.
